Your Front Line Drives Your Bottom Line: A Live Business Simulation that Connects Your Employee Owners to Enterprise Value

This will be the most fun, fast, and fruitful three hours you'll spend at a conference this year!

This hands-on workshop puts you in the driver's seat of an underperforming employee-owned company and challenges you to turn the business around. Through an immersive simulation, you'll experience what it takes to connect everyday decisions to business results, align around a common goal, and understand how individual actions can ultimately impact the value of the company. Participants will forecast actions and results for four successive weeks, so they can see their impact at the individual, department, and company level.

The Power of Why: Building an Ownership Philosophy to Guide ESOP Decisions.

ESOP boards and leadership teams make tactical decisions constantly: how to set distribution policy, whether to redeem, recycle, or releverage repurchased shares, what contribution level is right, how much diversification to offer, and how to weigh growth investment against ESOP funding and current pay. Leadership and board turnover makes this harder, because new decision-makers often don’t understand the “why” behind the program and may treat the ESOP as a cost to minimize. The result can be knee-jerk decisions that work against the company’s own goals of motivating and retaining employees and providing a broad-based retirement benefit.

Build Your Employee-Owned Company: Creating a Culture of Accountability Through the 5 Leadership Practices and 5 Management Practices

Strong ownership cultures don't happen by accident. They're built through the everyday leadership and management practices that shape expectations, relationships, decision-making, and performance.

In this interactive workshop, you'll explore five leadership practices and five management practices that help great bosses create clarity, build trust, develop their people, and establish meaningful accountability. Through self-assessment, peer discussion, organizational exercises, and role-playing, you'll examine your own leadership habits and find opportunities to strengthen accountability on your team.

Gritty in Turbulent Times: Build Your Roadmap with the EO Mindset

Economic uncertainty, rising costs, talent shortages, and rapid AI-driven change are testing every company. The employee-owned companies that come through stronger usually don't have a better strategy on paper. They have employee-owners who understand the business, can see the scoreboard, and act like owners when it counts.

You'll use GRITT's CEO Checklist to assess where your company stands today and find the gaps most likely to stall you under pressure. You'll leave with a draft one-page roadmap and a 90-day action plan to bring back to your leadership team and ESOP committee.
